After canceling my winter plans like everyone, my friend’s villa became available in Merida, so what the fuck? Down to Mexico for Feb and March I went! Adventure travel it was, coming close to death a couple of times—but the reward was worth the risk. I was granted delightful mysteries and access to locals of a city with no tourists.
